Facebook Watch Explores "Mormon Love" in New Docu-Series

Facebook Watch is to explore teen life and dating in a Mormon community in Utah for its latest doc series.

The digital platform has commissioned Mormon Love from House Hunters International producer Leopard USA and is launching the multi-part series on January 13.

The show will look at what it’s like to date within the LDS Church, following four different stories of young Mormon love. Filmed across the summer, the Facebook community will see the stories of Josie, Garrett, Lexi, Jesse and Braxton unfold as they try to navigate growing up, their religion and the search for their soulmates.

Executive Producers are James Burstall, Rick de Oliveira and Jillian Brand. Leopard USA, which also produces DIY Network’s Big Beach Builds, is owned by British production group Argonon.

Burstall, CEO of Leopard USA and Argonon Group said, “This is a significant project for Leopard USA and we’re delighted to be producing this ground-breaking series on Facebook Watch. It’s a huge privilege to be invited into the LDS Mormon Church. We look forward to showing the fascinating true stories of a uniquely vibrant and warm group of young adults finding their way in a world that’s constantly applying pressure on the devout who care very deeply about their faith, and as a result, want to engage social conversation.”
